Lost and Found overflowing
If your child is missing something, please
have them check the Lost and Found section of the cafeteria. The
pile of jackets, sweatshirts and lunchboxes is forever growing.
Please help us return these items to the rightful owners!
Labeling your child's items helps us find the owners of anything
left behind. Eventually all unclaimed items are donated to a
goodwill agency.
Attendance reminder
It is important that we are able to account
for our students on a daily basis. When a child does not come to
school and a parent has not called to report the absence, we
become concerned about the safety of the child. Therefore,
please call the school by 9:30 a.m. to report absences and late
arrivals.
The school’s phone number is 785-9203 and a message can be left
on the main line. Thank you, in advance for your cooperation!
2012-13 Supply Lists now available
The 2012-13 Forts Ferry supply lists are now
available.
You can download them right here.
A note on building evening hours
Our school building is open in the evening until
9:00 p.m. However, if your child needs to return
to school for any reason, an adult MUST
accompany the child to the classroom. For
security purposes, please do not enter the
classroom unattended. The evening custodian must
escort you to the classroom and wait in the
classroom until you have retrieved the item from
the room. At no time should anyone be in a
classroom unattended.
Label, label, label!
Please remember to label any and all things that
are brought into school – jackets, sweaters,
lunchboxes, books, etc. This not only saves you
from having to replace items, but it also saves
teachers, coaches and noon aides lots of time
looking for lost items.
