December 10, 2008 - The North Colonie Central School District is pleased to announce that all 11 fall varsity sports teams were recognized as Scholar/Athlete Teams by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association. To receive the recognition, a team must maintain a grade point average of 90 or better.

Studies have shown that students who participate in interscholastic athletics often earn higher grades, have fewer discipline problems and better attendance records than students who are not involved.
