May 13, 2009 - Authors Cynthia DeFelice and
James Preller will visit Blue Creek Elementary students later
this month. Both authors write books for children and young
adults.
Families can preorder books through Blue
Creek and have the authors sign them during their visit.

DeFelice will visit the
school on Thursday, May 21 and will present to students
in grades four to six. Her books for young adults
include "Bringing Ezra Back," "The Missing Manatee,"
"The Ghost of Culter Creek" and others. Her picture
books include "Casey in the Bath," "Dancing Skeleton"

Preller will visit the school
on Thursday, May 28 and will present to students in
kindergarten through third grade. He is known most for
his "Jigsaw Jones" mystery series, but his other books
include "Along Came a Spider," "Ghost Cat and Other
Spooky Tales," and others. His most recent book is
"Mighty Casey," a twist on the classic poem "Casey At
the Bat," featuring the hilarious artwork of Matthew
