Forts Ferry student named Capital News 9 Kid of the Week

January 22, 2010 - Forts Ferry second grader Carly Martin was recently named Capital News 9 Kid of the Week.

 

Carly's parents said she wanted to donate her hair to Locks of Love. Some of Carly's family members had cancer and she wanted to do make the donation to help others afflicted with this disease. Carly patiently waited for her hair to grow long enough and gave her locks to help others.
