November 9, 2010 - French 1 8th grade students in Mrs. Blau's and Ms. Crosby's classes handed in a special project recently. This "tombstone" research project is related to the holiday of "La Toussaint" in France which honors loved ones who have passed on. They needed to research a deceased person who contributed to French history. They created a tombstone to represent that person's death, wrote an essay, and gave a short presentation to the class on what they learned. The students did a wonderful job on the essays, presentations, and tombstones!
