10 SHS seniors graduated on Thursday from the Summer School Program.

On Thursday, September 1, 10 seniors in Shaker High School's Summer School Program officially graduated and received their diplomas in front of an audience of family and friends.

Superintendent D. Joseph Corr addressed the students and their families, reminding them that no matter how they arrived at this moment, the important thing is that they acheived their goal.

"This marks the beginning of something new," he said. "This is an important benchmark in your lives and we are all proud of you. We are all thrilled to be with you today to celebrate this momentus occasion."

"Sometimes there are setbacks in life," SHS principal Richard Murphy said. "The important thing is to be able to work through them and reach your goal. All of you have done that and should be pleased with your hard work. I commend all of you today.
