The North Colonie Music Department is proud to
announce that three Shaker High School students will be performing
in the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) All-State
Music Festival, held December 1st through the 4th in Rochester NY.
These students were chosen from a pool of thousands across New York
State.
Congratulations to Alaina Boyle, soprano in
All-State Mixed Chorus, Erica Schwartz, viola in All-State String
Orchestra, and Morgan Sweeter, alto in All-State Women's Chorus.
Four Shaker High School students were selected
as alternates. Congratulations also go to Sara Berg-Love, flute;
Michael Galvin, bass; Brandon Guerrette, jazz drumset; and Grace
Hartl, flute.
The music department is proud to have had seven
students recognized for this exceptional achievement
