The results are in from The Great Pumpkin Challenge Vote!

A total of 780 votes were submitted.

· The Peacock, designed by student Ashley Fiacco, grade 10, was the favorite design with 182 votes

· The M&Ms submitted by the elementary art teachers (Mrs. Aldous, Mrs. Duffy, Mrs. Hodges, Mrs Youmans, Mrs. Trawinski, & Ms. Verchereau) had 163 votes.

· The Coffin, designed by student Katie Lawrence, grade 12, received 124 votes, and

· The Apple Core, designed, by Mrs. Manzella, placed 4th with 103 votes.

Other favorites were the Owl and the Clownfish.

"Every pumpkin received votes, which is a clear indication that the voting audience truly appreciated the creatively of everyone’s designs," Art Supervisor Anne Manzella said. "Maybe it will be an inspiration for people to begin their brainstorming for next year. We hope everyone enjoyed the fun."
