Class of 2022 Honor Graduates

Shaker High School Principal Jim Wager has announced the names of those students graduating as Honor Graduates. Honor Graduates are the top five percent of the Class of 2022.

Joanna Andrews is the daughter of Ann and John Andrew of Cohoes. Joanna will attend Cornell University in the fall as a Computer Science major.

Avi Bagchi is the son of Pinka Chatterji and Kaushik Bagchi of Loudonville. Avi will attend the University of Pennsylvania in the fall as an Economics and Computer Science major.

Labesh Baral is the son of Laxmi Baral and Atreya Benuka of Latham. Labesh will attend Stony Brook University as a Computer Science major.

Ayaan Bargeer is the son of Shabana and Abid Bargeer of Cohoes. Ayaan will attend Cornell University in the fall as an Environmental Engineering major.

Hannah Byun is the daughter of Chang Sung and Chang Byun of Watervliet. Hannah will attend Stony Brook University as a Biology and Economics major.

Minyi Chen is the daughter of Jie Gao and Jianhao Chen of Latham. Minyi will attend Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Biology and Computer Science major.

Patrick Dai is the son of Tao Zhang and Shiqiang Dai of Watervliet. Patrick will attend UCLA as a Data Science and Computer Science major.

Ashley Halko is the daughter of Robin and Nicholas Halko of Latham. Ashley will attend the University of Pittsburgh as a Bioengineering and Chemical Engineering major.

Kathryn Hanrahan is the daughter of Peter and Heather Hanrahan of Latham. Kathryn will attend the University of Connecticut as a Nursing major.

JoAnna James is the daughter of Jack James and Xiao Li of Menands. Joanna will attend the University of Pennsylvannia as a Neuroscience major.

Allison Kunin is the daughter of Jon and Amy Kunin of Latham. Allison will attend Rochester Institute of Technology as a Computer Science major.

Lily Luper is the daughter of Eric Luper and Elaine Bartley of Loudonville. Lily will attend the University of Richmond as a Biology major.

Dylan Mattison is the son of Kathy and Gary Mattison of Latham. Dylan will attend Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences as a Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pre-Med major.

Grace McManus is the daughter of Elizabeth Dailey McManus and John McManus of Menands. Grace will be attending Georgetown University as an Undecided major.

Louis Meunier is the son of Karine and Vincent Meunier of Wynantskill. Louis will be attending McGill University as a Mathematics and Computer Science major.

Mary Moryl is the daughter of John and Stephanie Moryl of Latham. Mary will be attending SUNY Oneonta as an Early Childhood/Childhood Education major.

Jaaziel Olayinka is the son of Comfort and Ayo Olayinka of Loudonville. Jaaziel will attend Columbia University as a Cognitive Science major.

Dylann Palmer is the son of Anita and Prem Palmer of Latham. Dylann will attend Boston University as a Biomedical Engineering major.

Nicholas Passino is the son of Debbie and Joe Passino of Latham. Nicholas will attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University as an Aeronautical Sciences – Pilot major.

Zachary Paton is the son of Scott Paton of Latham and Kathleen Moorhead-Paton of Middleburgh. Zachary will attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as a Mechanical Engineering major.

Jemma Pipe is the daughter of Dibian Pick and Rob Pipe of Latham. Jemma will attend Fordham University as a Mathematics major.

Jared Randall is the son of Tom and Antoinette Randall of Latham. Jared will attend Rochester Institute of Technology as a Computer Science major.

Mary Kate Sullenberger is the daughter of Nicole Monserrate and Lance Sullenberger of Loudonville. Mary Kate will attend Washington University in St. Louis as an Architecture major.

Victoria Swider is the daughter of Natalya and Michael Swider of Albany. Victoria will attend Lehigh University as an Integrated Business and Engineering major.

Cadence Young is the daughter of Virginia Yang and Jeffrey Young of Cohoes. Cadence will attend University of Massachusetts Amherst as a Computer Science major.
