Donning caps and gowns, and with family and friends 
watching with excitement, four additional Shaker High School Class of 2022 graduates received their diplomas Aug. 23 during a ceremony held in the Shaker High School Auditorium. Summer school principal Stephen Doak, Shaker High School Principal Jim Wager, and Superintendent Joseph Corr all recognized the graduates and commended them on their hard work.
Holding the summer ceremony started several years ago as a way to ensure the students who persevered to achieve those last remaining credits received well-deserved and earned recognition. Eight students completed the requirements to graduate in August and four attended the recent ceremony.
Receiving their diplomas during the ceremony were:

- Savadene Homran
- Jacob MacMillan
