ParentSquare Update
The North Colonie Central School District has launched ParentSquare – a simple and unified school-to-home communication platform – to reach and engage every parent. All important notifications, such as school closings and delays, news and upcoming events, will be sent to parents through this platform.

Student Author Melds Art and Fantasy in First Novel

SHS Pep Band Serves as the Official Band for the Leatherstocking Honor Flight
Our SHS Pep Band had the tremendous honor and privilege of performing as the official band for the Leatherstocking Honor Flight ceremony at the Albany International Airport on Oct. 1. Veterans from all five branches of the military who served in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, and more were recognized for their service to our country. Read more about the ceremony here.

Parent Night: Personal Safety Program for K-5 Families – Wednesday, Oct. 12, 7-8:30 p.m. @ Loudonville Elementary
North Colonie elementary schools will be welcoming back prevention educators from the Crimes Victims Services Program for St. Peter’s Health Partners to teach your child about personal safety.
SMS Health Program Preview – Wednesday, Oct. 12 @ 6:30 p.m.
This livestreamed meeting will provide parents with the opportunity to receive an overview of our health curriculum from our health teachers and program administrators and receive answers to questions which can be sent in via this Form prior to or during the presentation. The meeting will be recorded and archived on the district website for anyone who can’t join the live presentation. An outline of the Health program is also available on the district website. Junior Bison Basketball League (Boys K-6) – starts Dec. 3
Open to North Colonie boys in K-6. Cost is $125 for 7 sessions, starting December 3. All players will receive a Junior Bison jersey. We are looking for parent volunteers to help coach, ref, and run the score clock. Click here to learn more and to register.
