Congratulations to the Engineering Capstone team of Ethan Valente and Andrew Church competed and placed 2nd in the Thomas Edison Pitch Competition.
Andrew and Ethan travel to the Thomas Edison National Historic Park in New Jersey May 17 to present to a panel of expert judges and earn these amazing second place finish.
The Thomas Edison Pitch Contest was created in 2010 as a competition to showcase and encourage invention, innovation and entrepreneurship among students before they get to college. Every year, students submit their great ideas to win prizes and gain hands-on experience building their prototype and pitching their idea to a panel of judges. There were over 193 teams from all over the country and several world wide who submitted an entry into the competition said Eric Phillips, supervisor of Career and Technical Education..
