And then there were four! Congratulations to Catherine Cheng, John Park, Shubham Patel, and Faiz Shaikh who are all National Merit Scholarship semifinalists. The Shaker seniors are among more than 16,000 students across the country who scored in the top one percent on the PSAT exam and will have the opportunity to continue in the competition. Finalists will be announced in February and those students will have the chance to compete for 6,870 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $26 million that will be offered in the spring.
