An agenda with supporting data and materials shall be prepared by the Clerk of the Board of Education approved by the Superintendent of Schools and reviewed by the Board President and Vice-President for each board meeting. The agenda shall be sent to each member of the Board at least three (3) days in advance of meeting time.
Except for extraordinary exigent circumstances, items not on the agenda shall not receive final action by the Board, other than items raised by members of the public from the floor.
If the Superintendent believes extraordinary circumstances warrant adding an item to the agenda after the Board members have received the agenda and supporting materials, he/she shall notify the President who shall call the Board into a meeting of the committee-of-the-whole before the public meeting in time for the Board to adequately review such item.
The Clerk of the Board of Education shall ensure that the agenda shall be sent to media representatives, posted on the North Colonie website, and made available to those in attendance at the meeting.
