The Shaker Robotics team (FRC 2791) received a wildcard and Excellence in Engineering Award at the New York Tech Valley Regional, qualifying the team to attend FIRST World Championship in Houston, Texas. After fundraising and receiving much support from the community, we were able to go to Houston and compete with 600 of the best teams from around the world. It was an incredible experience to collaborate and interact with such a diverse group of teams. Shaker Robotics had a record of 4-6-0 in qualification matches. The team also scored in the top 15% for the autonomous periods and top 33% in average game pieces scored in their division. The team would not be able to accomplish any of this without the gracious support from you and our community. Thank you to everyone who donated and pitched in to help Shaker Robotics get there. We hope to see you all next season!
