Nardolillo offered a motion, seconded by Alber to approve the resolution which authorizes the District to enter into contracts with the Colonie Youth Center and/or HealthyKids Programs for the provision of prekindergarten services to eligible residents of the District, as recommended by Superintendent of Schools.

Resolution

BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education authorizes the District to enter into contracts with the Colonie Youth Center and/or Healthy Kids Programs for the provision of pre-kindergarten services to eligible residents of the District subject to the approval of the District’s Superintendent of Schools, and authorizes the President of the District’s Board of Education and/or its Superintendent of Schools to enter into such contracts with the Colonie Youth Center and/or Healthy Kids Programs for the provision of such services on terms that are acceptable to the Superintendent of Schools and the District’s legal counsel, and to take such other actions as may be necessary to effectuate the contracts.
