On Thursday, September 21st, Blue Creek Elementary School celebrated International Peace Day with the creation of a mural on one of the outer walls of the school. With the help of Principal Mr. Turcio and art teacher Ms. Schanz, students grades K-5 all had the chance to put their handprints on the wall to create a rainbow. Teachers and staff members of the school were also invited to participate. Ms. Schanz will finish off the mural by painting the word “Welcome” in the nearly two dozen languages spoken at Blue Creek. Congratulations to the Bulldogs on a job well done!
