Public Meetings
Minutes shall be taken at all public meetings. Such minutes shall consist of a record or summary of all motions, proposals, resolutions and any other matters formally voted upon, the vote thereupon, and the vote of each member on each such matter.
Executive Sessions
Minutes shall be taken at executive sessions of any action which is taken by formal vote, without personally identifying employees or students affected thereby. Such minutes shall consist of a record or summary of the final determination of such action, the date and vote thereon, and the vote of each member; provided, however, that such summary shall not include any matter which is deniable under the Freedom of Information Law (Public Officers Law section 84 et seq.) is not required to be made public by Article 6 of the Public Officers Law.
Availability of Minutes
Minutes of public meetings shall be open to public inspection within one week of executive sessions and within two weeks of all other meetings. Minutes which have not been approved by the Board within this time frame shall be marked, “DRAFT.” Approved, printed minutes shall be signed by the President and the Clerk of the Board to substantiate their authenticity.
