The Board of Education will approve the purchase of such liability, fire and extended coverage, and other insurance, and such surety bonds as the law shall require and the purchase of which the Board deems prudent. Periodically, the Board will consider the employment of an independent insurance counselor to make, in cooperation with the Superintendent of Schools and the Business Administrator, a comprehensive review of all types of insurance borne by the North Colonie Central Schools. If employed, such counselor shall make a report of findings to the Board, with recommendations for any changes in insurance plan or coverage deemed advisable.
