Earn College Credit This Summer Absolutely Free

Attention rising juniors and seniors, enrollment is open for Hudson Valley’s College in the High School Program this summer. They are providing a special program this summer where all costs are covered, which includes books and materials. The courses are taught online by qualified Hudson Valley faculty members, and college credits are transferable.

Classes will be remote and the dates the sessions are available are:

  • May 24-July 2
  • May 24-August 13
  • July 6- August 13

There are classes offered to get you college ready like: career planning, decision making, and academic and interpersonal effectiveness. Plus a number of other classes to choose from including:

  • art
  • business
  • biology
  • chemistry
  • computer science
  • criminal justice
  • economics
  • education
  • English
  • history
  • math
  • physical education
  • political science
  • psychology
  • sociology
  • Spanish

The full course listings are available here. Credits can be transferred to most four-year colleges and universities. All SUNY schools will take them if they are applicable to the student’s degree program and most private universities accept them as well.

This is the enrollment form that must be filled out by students and signed by the high school guidance counselor to secure your space in the course. The enrollment form must be faxed to the registrar’s office. They will not accept the information from a personal email. The fax number is 518-629-8103.

If you have not enrolled in a course at Hudson Valley, you will also need a certificate of residence. This is not needed at the time of enrollment. Here is information on what is considered acceptable documentation of residency. If you apply for a certificate of residency through Albany County they will send it directly to the school for you.
