In order to minimize disruption and inconvenience to visitors coming to the District Office (Goodrich building), necessary asbestos abatement work will start Friday, April 7 and continue through Spring Break, April 10-14. The District is closed, April 7 in observance of Good Friday.
“In order to provide more effective service to our families, staff, and community who need to do business at the District Office, we are reconfiguring several of our office spaces,” Superintendent Kathleen Skeals said. “To do this, asbestos abatement needs to be completed first.
“We have intentionally scheduled this so the number of individuals who will likely be visiting 91 Fiddlers Lane during Spring Break will be minimal,” she added.
Brian Craft, Director of Facilities, said signs will clearly direct visitors to the temporary, alternative entrance where the reception desk will also be relocated. Prior to that, visitors will see notifications posted regarding the start of the project.
As with any facility work, the timeline and intended finish date could change, so we appreciate your patience if this occurs.
