On Monday, October 23rd, German Club hosted its annual Martinstag lantern parade at the Shaker Middle School cafeteria. About 150 members of the community attended the event, which has grown in numbers over the years. Community members learned about the German tradition of Martinstag and took part in a lantern parade around the Shaker Football field. As part of the event, donations were collected for the Shaker food pantry and the backpack program.
