North Colonie Central School District hosted the first ever Fall Family Festival on Thursday, October 19th in Shaker High School’s lower courtyard. Hundreds of students and family members turned out to raise money and support for North Colonie’s community gardens. There was live music, art, food and activities including pumpkin painting, leaf painting, garlic planting and sunflower seed harvesting. Along with the support of local restaurants and many other community partners Fall Family Festival raised $574 for our district gardens. Thank you to all of those involved in creating such a successful event!
