Two Shaker High School Junior Varsity History Bowl teams are headed to nationals. They earned the honor after competing recently in the Regional History Bowl Competition held in Ithaca.
The Shaker Team B members are: Everest Nelson-Holder, Faiz Shaikh, and Haadi Shoaib who won the JV division and were awarded a “Champions” plaque. The Shaker Team A members are: Yuhan Chen, Everitt Li, Shrijan Sharma, and Austin Cao. They came in second place during the event and were awarded a “Finalist” plaque. Both teams will travel to the National History Bowl Competition in Arlington, Virginia in April.

Everest Nelson-Holder and Haadi Shoaib also competed in the US Geography Bee and placed first and second, respectively, and qualified for US Geography Bee Nationals. Faiz Shaikh also competed in and came in first place in the National Science Bee competition and qualified for Science Bee Nationals.
