On Tuesday, October 31st students from Shaker High School’s Sports and Entertainment Marketing & Social Media Marketing classes were afforded the opportunity to participate in the New York Jets Sports Business Day. Students got to experience a behind the scenes tour of MetLife Stadium where they got to see the Jets’ locker room, various unique suites, upscale plaza spaces and even the field! They heard from Jets executives who shared valuable school, internship and career advice with them and they also learned about various career opportunities on the business side of the sports industry such as sales, marketing, finance, community relations, communications/public relations and facilities maintenance.
