Seven SHS Students Earn Awards at Greater Capital Region Science & Engineering Fair at RPI

Twelve students from Shaker High School competed in the Greater Capital Region Science and Engineering Fair at RPI on Saturday, March 15, with seven earning awards. Students listed below have dedicated themselves to exploring a scientific phenomenon, carrying out an investigation and analyzing the results. They then presented their findings to a team of judges at RPI. Ishika Yalamnachi earned third honorable mention and a trip to STANYS State Science Congress Fair in Syracuse, New York. Pavithra Jayakumar earned second place in the Senior Division and a trip to ISEF Nationals in Columbus, Ohio.
