Shaker Artists Have 15 Works Selected for 26th Annual High School Regional Juried Art Exhibition

More than a dozen of Shaker High School’s talented student artists will have their work on display at the 26th Annual High School Regional Juried Art Exhibition. Thirteen students’ works will be on display starting on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at The Albany Center Gallery at 488 Broadway, Suite 107, Albany, NY. The fifteen pieces were selected out of 25 submissions from Shaker High School students.

In total, 526 pieces were submitted by 25 school districts in the Capital Region. The selection process was conducted by jurors Robert Cooper (photographer and journalist), Thomasa Dwyer Nielsen (artist and educator) and Tony Iadicicco (Executive Director of The Albany Center Gallery). In all, the jurors selected 138 outstanding works for the exhibition. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
