A group of Shaker High School students served as volunteers at the Colonie Chamber of Commerce’s “Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders Summit” on Wednesday, October 18th at the Marriott on Wolf Road. The students assisted with the registration process for attendees and helped lead them to their breakout sessions, but were also welcomed to listen in on the transformative event aimed at cultivating leadership skills, promoting inclusivity, and fostering mentorship within the professional world. The summit brings together accomplished speakers, interactive panel discussions, and engaging activities to inspire and equip attendees with the tools they need to lead with excellence. North Colonie Superintendent Kathleen Skeals accompanied Claire Romania, Sakthi Jagannath, Krithi Pala, Ava Pasterchick, Julia Repko, Troy Serao, Shreeya Gillela, Dea Kolgega, Sam Dunsker and Gianna Greco to the event.
