For the 12th consecutive year, North Colonie has been honored with the Best Communities for Music Education designation from The NAMM Foundation for its outstanding commitment to music education.
The Best Communities for Music Education Award is a signature program of The NAMM Foundation that recognizes and celebrates school districts for their support and commitment to music education and efforts to ensure access to music for all students as part of a well-rounded education.
The NAMM Foundation has recognized the North Colonie community for the outstanding efforts of teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who are making music an important part of North Colonie. The NAMM Foundation salutes the commitment of the North Colonie community, so every child can learn and grow with music.
This year, the program celebrates its 23rd year of honoring schools and districts across the country.
