Shaker Announces Four National Merit Scholarship Finalists

And then there were four! Shaker High School is proud to announce that four of its students are among approximately 15,000 nationwide to be honored as National Merit Scholarship Finalists. Congratulations to seniors Catherine Cheng, John Yoon Park, Shubham Patel and Faiz Shaikh who have met the rigorous requirements for Finalist standing and are now eligible to compete for more than 6,800 National Merit Scholarships. This distinction places them in a group representing about one-half of one percent of U.S. high school graduating seniors. Finalists will be announced in four waves from April through July.
