Several Boght Hills teachers were among those honored May 11 at the Hindu Cultural Center’s first Guru Vandana ceremony. Guru in Sanskrit means teacher and Vandana means salutations. Guru Vandana means ‘reverence for the teacher’ and is an expression of love and gratitude towards one’s Guru and honors the teacher for imparting knowledge and wisdom to their students.
